Got Rejected In an Interview, Just Because I Didn’t Answer a Personal Question

So, I got invited for this interview, and they told me to be there at 9 AM. Of course, I get there early, like 8:30, because I don't want to be late. But then I end up waiting for 1.5 hours. Seriously, they didn't even acknowledge me until 10. Then this HR lady calls me in, and she's totally unprofessional. She's like, on her phone, making personal calls while I'm sitting right there. And then she starts asking me these really weird questions, like what my nickname is, and what my dad does for a living. It got really uncomfortable when she started pressing for details about where my dad works. I mean, what does that have to do with anything? So I politely told her I didn't want to answer, and she actually said, "Then we can't continue this interview." I was honestly shocked. But instead of arguing, I just stood up and said, “Alright then.” And walked out. I left feeling pissed. Not only did they waste an hour of my time, but the HR rep was also rude and unprofessional..

I worked as a Resident Engineer, but they have a policy that every vendor(3rd party payroll) should have work only for 2 years . After 2 years everyone go for cooling period (3 months). In cooling period they doesn't provide any salary. They didn't informed me before joined the TCL company. So in that case 3 months no work no pay. After 3 months I am again eligible for a new employee and can go for an interview again, its may be same post or if any other post is vacant. Its so ridiculous policy....Read More

Office location is terrible. TCL is not able to manage its business in India currently. Various cost cutting measures have been implemented starting from unavailable bathroom tissue papers to travel to achievement incentives, everything you can imagine. Upper management sets unrealistic expectations/targets and expects to achieve it. No marketing budget, no expenditure on promoting its product line-up, cannot understand how customers will be aware.
