Excellent work life balance with a strong ethos and extreme job security. But not a place for hustlers trying to earn more work more. It's a good job that pays well too so that you can survive in the long run. So overall their main moral "sustainability " is well reflected.

Location of Kalingananager is not good. Other location are ok.

HR says company accommodation available near plant location. But after joining you are told to get accommodation which is 25 km far from plant and daily 3 hrs are wastage in traveling.

After the demise of Ratan Tata, Tata Steel is no longer a place to work anymore. The Stupid HR policy, Forced Retirements, reduced number of leaves are the new normal. The only good part was the OPD medical facility which be discontinued from April onwards as well.
