If you are here, you have probably read about SynergisticIT online and here to figure out if it is a good choice for you. Is it worth it? Will you find a good job afterward? As someone who has completed a full-time college degree, I can confidently say that this 6-month bootcamp is worth a lot more than 3 (or more) years of college.Let me break down the important aspects for you so you can decide for yourself.
Curriculum: What is really important is HOW you learn the technology and not what is being taught coz technologies change every day. They provide a professional learning experience by putting you in the environment that you would be a part of once you start doing a job. Their ultimate goal is to prepare you for the tough competition outside so that you don't have to struggle for jobs or long term employment. You get uninterrupted technical support throughout the course.
Job Support: While they can't force a company to hire you or give you an interview, they shape every student into an ideal candidate instead to increase their chance of getting hired. They will find you better-paying jobs and long term contracts that are essential for your success.
What sets them apart: They follow a balanced approach and focus on all aspects that could make the difference between an average and a brilliant coder. The curriculum is hard, and the last part can become quite stressful, but the outcome is totally worth it. They don't take you from 0-60, they take you from 20-120. And they do that by keeping you focused by maintaining a regular class routine.
Overall, this is a great place to begin your coding journey and pivot into a career of your dreams. As long as you are putting in the hard work and efforts, they will earn you the best possible outcomes....Read More

This camp is only for people who want to join an online camp that is fast-paced. If you want something part-time then this is not the place for you.
Also, you need to have some basic knowledge of programming to enroll in most courses here.

Coding is not like a walk in the park and you sure can't expect anyone to teach you coding within a few months. What they can do is help create a strong foundation so you can grasp complicated concepts and learn your way through coding. No matter if you join even the most expensive camp, if you don't have the discipline and dedication you won't make it. One of my friends recommended me a few options like Iron hack, SynergisticIT and General Assembly to get my Java course done and upon further research online and via some first hand accounts, I decided to go with SynergisticIT. Why?
One because they are famous for their Java training and second they provide the best job support - not just getting hired part but long-term better paying projects.
My advice is to join a camp with an open mind and don't be afraid of a little experimentation. Within two months of the course, I started feeling really confident and even could write simple lines of code independently. Of course the teachers were good but it reflected my hard work too. I used to study day in and out without focusing on anything else and that's how I could reach that proficiency level. Classes were really organized and everything happened at a steady pace.We never felt rushed but we never felt stuck as well. I think one of the things that really work in favor of your success is the fact that you are studying an up-to-date material with latest technologies and real-life examples.
They are also very strict about deadlines and so you are not allowed to miss any when it comes to submitting assignments. Honestly, I did miss the in person class part since that gives a more personalized feeling but the overall experience here really compensated well....Read More

every place has its own pros and cons but with this place, the good overcome any bad (if there is any). I just sometimes found the group assignment part a little rushed sometimes because we were also focusing on job search while we were near the finish line.

My work there was filled with challenges but also a lot of learning opportunities. I was handling my own project but had assistance from my mentors all through the course. With practice, I overcame most of the challenges.

If there is one thing that job search in US teaches you is that is it not everyone's cup of tea. No matter if you are F1 student, H1B job seeker or struggling to find your OPT employment source, you will feel like you don't stand a chance. Even if you have the best resume, there is no guarantee for a job. That's when I realized I needed to market myself better or learn a new skill. I was pursuing MS in computer engineering so it made sense that I did something related to it. Java and C language was my interest area and in demand professions too. I just needed to find a good camp for training. With hundreds of options available, it was difficult to decide just one. I mean there are a lot of factors to consider like fee structure, course material, batch size, faculty members, job security, class schedule etc. So I began asking for some recommendations and these are the names I heard a lot:Code Smith, Digital Crafts, SynergictisIT, Bloc and Berkeley coding boot camp.
Code Smith (www.codesmith.io) had full &part time courses on site as well as remote. For full time courses, duration was less but part time classes extended until 6 months. Though they had very good rating but the duration wasn't suiting me at all.
Digital crafts (www.digitalcrafts.com) had the same line of course with part & full time sessions. Reviews were good too but their batch size was big like 20-25 students per session which meant less focus on each student.
I wasn't sure about SynergisticIT (www.synergisticit.com) in beginning but some research changed my mind. From smaller batches to in-depth training, they did all. They got good industry contacts too. Bloc (www.bloc.io) had online classes and helped with job placement too,but the fees was overbudget.
Berkeley Coding (www.bootcamp.berkeley.edu) gave online classes & duration was 6-7 months. I was inclining towards it but the negative feedback regarding job placement changed my mind.
So my decision to join SynergisticIT turned out to be good....Read More

Training with them was great. Initially you do take some time to adjust in the whole environment but once you settle in, you will enjoy the classes and interactive sessions. They even provide on job technical support for a year so you know you have backup
