Very fancy office environment, showing off restaurant (300 per Lunch), Gym for time pass, High security Campus to piss you off.. some other nice things that doesn't really make your life any better!!

1. Most of the higher management (having no experience on People management) are dumb and really have no skills except speaking very fluently. When you really have issue at work (Discrimination/harassments) and you complain this to HR (Team Shashakt).. ensure you go through the feeling of rap* victim to explain them the whole story (with Proof) and the people you have complained about will give you back the result of your complaint. You can guess the rest of story... 2. Their whole "Goal Setting" & "Review" process is fake and adds no value to your growth. 3. If you are a hard & Smart Worker.. please choose any other organisation.... cos growth is for people who are good with Managers, no matter whether you know the work or not. 4. People outside the organisation think - Swiss Re is good at Work life balance & Job Safety.. In realty its not true!! After pandemic the management start tracking "Log in" & "Log Out" tracker to ensure employees do not work-from-home too often. Just like government office... you can survive by not knowing anything and being nice to everyone....Read More

They started well in india in 2022, great place to work for those in mid seniority level.

Dislikes

Processes are not streamlined, manager is king. For 2 years no hikes. They would chose selected few for this and would never let you what was really wrong. Whole year you they ask no question and at end they say they are not happy with your performance. There is dummy appraisal system which they right all good things but benefits are given to only selected few. Swiss-re GBS is it firm of swissre reinsurance It had opened their operation in hyderabad in 2022. Since then they are expanding their IT wing and hiring more and more in house permanent employee. 1 thing i like more in swissre is, it gives employee chances of switching to other career roles and swissre as a company likes to give employee a good benefits and lovely environment to work.

Dislikes

Particularly not about swissre, but in general i dont like toxic people and toxic team who always de-motivate individual. And plays politics to secure their positions and role.
