Dislikes

A lot of discrimination between central departments and plant departments. Plant staff will be treated like operators in terms of all facilities. No separate canteen for plant staff. But central staff has a separate canteen and that's pretty standardized. Second Saturday off and 4th Saturday half day for central staff but not for plant staff. Culture of plant in too worst. People used to sit there even after office timing without having any work but only for show off. Staff in shifts cant go after shift end too. If any one is going people stare like he has done any crime. Promotions depend how much time u spend after ur office timing even without any work but not on the basis of talent....Read More

Got Rejected In an Interview, Just Because I Didn’t Answer a Personal Question

So, I got invited for this interview, and they told me to be there at 9 AM. Of course, I get there early, like 8:30, because I don't want to be late. But then I end up waiting for 1.5 hours. Seriously, they didn't even acknowledge me until 10. Then this HR lady calls me in, and she's totally unprofessional. She's like, on her phone, making personal calls while I'm sitting right there. And then she starts asking me these really weird questions, like what my nickname is, and what my dad does for a living. It got really uncomfortable when she started pressing for details about where my dad works. I mean, what does that have to do with anything? So I politely told her I didn't want to answer, and she actually said, "Then we can't continue this interview." I was honestly shocked. But instead of arguing, I just stood up and said, “Alright then.” And walked out. I left feeling pissed. Not only did they waste an hour of my time, but the HR rep was also rude and unprofessional..
