Not worth working in SSIPL

In my 12 years of experience, one of the worst company I worked is SSIPL, job security is 0%. Their management doesn't have vision on their company for at least next six months also. They will hire you and next two month they ask you move due to cost cutting.( I really don't know why they have hired and playing in employees life and future) please don't join this company, if you join then no guarantee on job....Read More

Good work environment and culture. Teammates are supportive and the management is transparent. There is a huge cafeteria and gaming arcade for chilling. Company policies are not good, appraisals are fair and they give good salary hike and bonus every year

Dislikes

There is a lot of politics and the management doesn’t address our issues. Salary is decent but career growth is slow. There is a bond of 2 years before which you cannot resign. On the job training is not given to new joinees.

Work Details

The job is quite interesting! I struggled a bit in the beginning as there was no formal training session. I learnt everything on the job. I got a chance to wear multiple hats and that helped me get a taste of different roles within the same team.

The teammates are very cooperative and frank. I got to learn a lot from them.

Little to No Career Growth. After a time learning stops. The General Management is really bad. The department i work in is under constant pressure. Late sitting is common thing in Accounts/Finance department. Company policy says it is only 5 days working but the truth is if you are in one of the above-mentioned departments then it is 6 days. Saturday being unofficial working day.

The work is good. Challenging at times but this is how we learn. Half of the month is spent on working on the MIS and BPR. Rest of the month i work on the Reconciliation. So yeah, always buzy in one thing or the other.
