The owners of the university want to make it a research intensive institution but the unproductive faculty members with the support administration create problems to the more competent ones'. I would say research of some faculties is being encouraged to an extent.
There is a high level of nepotism and discrimination, the management works like dictators and treats employees like criminals, the management put false allegations on the faculty and force them to rising from the job. There is a double standard wile treating the employees, in terms of appraisal and promotions, etc. where unproductive and less competent are given these benefits. Management does not resolve the issue of the employees instead blame those who face problems. The owners of the university should change the management as soon as possible....Read More

1. Management is providing very good facilities in terms of teaching and research. 2. SEED Grant upto 50 Lakhs will be provided for the faculty based on proposal. 3. Financial support to attend conference, publish patent and memberships. 4. Present VC is making very good policies.
1. Thought many good policies are making, the HoD rotation policy is not implementing properly. 2. Due to this the HoDs who are there on chair will feel like govt job and they are not working anything and put pressure on faculty and get the credit from management. 3. Due to non implementation of HoD policy properly the shortlisting the candidates and requirements also decided by HoD with much importance to faculty members opinion. 4. Everything will be in HoDs including the PhD students leaves, synopsis and thesis submission. No role of guide. Like this there are certain issues in policy implementation. After working a year under this organization there is nothing to like.
This workplace has a really poisonous atmosphere. The lack of a defined leave policy has a major impact on work-life balance for project employees in this organization. furthermore, there are no explicit work policies or safety measures in work place, such as awareness of POSH. Higher ranking personnel frequently act impolitely, particularly toward female employees and subordinates. The workplace is made unfriendly and uncomfortable by this unprofessional behaviour. The HR division is visibly incompetent and unconcerned with project workers. They handle problems in an insufficient manner and with reckless abandon. It seems like they would rather keep things as they are than deal with legitimate issues. The effectiveness of leadership and decision making is compromised by this lack of appropriate credentials. Project workers are exploited because they are not paid in accordance with the project salary criteria. Even Principal Investigators are negligent when it comes to terms and conditions they offered when an employee joined. All in all the organization suffers from systemic problems that have a big influence on worker morale and wellbeing.
