We all work together, each and every individual person has same importance. Sony India that's why the most profitable wing of Sony. At company training is playing the most important role. Our HR team is very strong and supportive. They take good care of every employee in their career progress. If you can able to create your importance then your place is safe. And as an individual we should associate with a company till you are able to contribute in its growth. It's a give and take policy and which is wise as per me. For growth ready for frequent movement from branch to branch. Which actually help you to learn more about market. Result gain of knowledge and experience and then obviously you can expect a growth in your career within the company. 1-10 rating system...yes for me it was like a report card of my entire year's contribution towards company's growth. In my tenure I got 6 (exceeding excellence), 7(recognition at dpt level) , again 6 and finally 5(meeting expectations) which actually broke me. And I made my mind to leave. As if I am not contributing enough then some other fresh blood should come and take my position and do better for company. After that rating I worked for a year and without sitting in any other appraisal meet I left Sony India. It was probably a notice of a year perhaps. Though it was the most harsh decision I have ever made. Cash and kind...if you are running for cash don't join but if you like your dignity and self esteem then it's the best company to work with. Travel is depend on role ... As RDI was a frequent traveler. Yes politics is everywhere... Japs perhaps don't involve in it but I believe we Indian's only do that. All the Japanese delegates or colleagues are wonderful to work with...they want hear new ideas and thought... They are practical .. they are like Samurai.
