Notice period, early join

My current company notice period is two months 23-Dec-2024 to 20-feb-2024. But my new employer asking for early join ie 3rd of feb! I requested for early relieve to My current employer. Verbally they agreed to relieve two weeks early but now they not ready to relieve early. They want me to complete two months notice period. My new employer asking to join early! What can I do? Once you accept the position it is expected that you have to do the job which was not mentioned in your job profile which was shared by HR E.g. job role offered was Sr cloud infrastructure engineer but after six months I was told that the manager expect that I would do a L1 Desktop job as well and as i didn't do that I have to resign on the pretext that the company does not have cloud infrastructure work and I did not do enough work There are HR persons but have no role .
