Likes

SMEC is good engineering consulting company. Having plenty of projects across the globe. If one is capable he also gets foreign exposure.

Dislikes

Everything is ok but sometimes it’s difficult to if you are engaged in one project. They won’t transfer you to other project in your nearby location.

It has full MNC type of office environment, but work like a small consultancies

Dislikes

The HRs won't support you, As a design engineer you are expected to work extra time everyday. Managers scold you like kids in front of everyone.

The only good thing was your teammates will support you in hard times.

Dislikes

Management (Rail & Metro, Bangalore) is very poor, there is a reason why they are recruiting from North India as no local is interested in join and most of them already resigned. Manager will demean you, will give warning to go, expects you to work on weekends despite completing the target given.
