The list of negatives is long - No roadmap, no strategy. - Expections from Dev's is just ship that damm feature quickly.. they don't give f**k about quality and dev process - Every now and then there is some or other policy change (remote first to 5 days office - this was to very badly executed), (unlimited leaves to over complicated leave structure - there at least 20 types of leaves with shiity TnC), (Roadmap preparation - first it was quarterly then changed to half yearly of which product team itself takes 2/3 months to give one pager PRD and at the end somehow the feature has to be delivered within the remaining half year so devs has to start with unbaked PRD) - Zero Job Security - they can show you the gate any day - Every Monday morning CEO boast about customer TRUST.. but he is either ignorant or unaware that employes have lost the trust in him.. this guy made lot of fake promises like remote work and blah blah without thinking about its impact on the individuals - No standard engineering practices - It's a money drain machine - eg they spent money on hotels and travel like anything.. like 14k per day suit in 5star hotel for 1 month per person.. pure waste of money - CTO doesn't have any idea whats happening in engg team. He is a very good orator but equally bad at managing things and he has no clue in setting up right engineering processed and practice It's a never ending list.. this was a worst decision I have made by joining this company.. stay away from it...Read More

Work culture was bad. Hired from all over the place. Executives spent really terribly not just on hiring. But overspent on a lot of things, parties, hotels, expensive offices when everyone's working remotely. 100s of Product folks with no original idea, just copy paste or give in customer demands based on what competitor is providing. Utterly stupid. My EM was a better PM than their entire org. Just before layoffs, CEO says they are spending 4 million a month in Operating Cost. We were all stunned, our combined salaries wouldn't even make 15% of that. Our Marketing was nil, other companies in space like Slice spent heavily on advertisements, and still their operating costs are below 2 million a month. Ultimately layoffs happened. Toxic management, CEO & CTO shows no empathy towards its employees. Layoffs, it seems they have FOMO on layoffs also. Another alarming aspect is the management's failure to acknowledge employees concerns or negative feedback. Internal politics causing toxic work environment.
