There is nothing to be liked about the company and its culture. There's a high level of dirty politics. To save someone special's job they might put you in such a team where the project is on the verge of its completion. My manager never focused on my work or even bothered communicating just because he wanted to lay me off. They will push you to such a point where resign is the only option. This startup feels like game of Avalon and Warewolf come to life where deceit and deception run the show. Selected few individuals (Founders and early PMs and few other people who are now working for 4+ years) hold all the power, secret knowledge and critical information needed to do the job. Many of them act as CXO's loyal troublemakers - paid to spy and create division/conflicts between the teams. Most of those who joined after covid growth boom in the company (new Gurgaon office) are like innocent "villagers" in the WareWolf game, naive peasants oblivious to the ulterior motives of those above you. These people are working hard day in out, on weekends - hoping to succeed, only to find out that they are being fed scraps of misleading and incomplete information - hazy growth numbers, failing products and about the direction where company is headed. The "wolves" are using their insider status to quietly cripple, spread distrust and consolidate all power in their hands. If you have any kind of loan - Home, personal, please avoid joining this random startup - they will make you quit silently by use of aggression based body language and bullying. Job security is proportional to the extent of verbal abuse you can take from CTO and founders. Not applicable for Baniyas in the company. Like ola manufactures use and throw e-vehicles, ShipRocket launches products which users use and throw when it comes time to pay for the subscription. Retention rates are total crap.
