It appears that working in this Country, the Chinese workers are paid more and work less and do not have to do any split shifts. Others are exploited and is forced to live with 4 persons in one small room. Not to mention at times, no food left to eat

Dislikes

Does not promote growth and working conditions are different for Chinese being given better pay and more leeway than immigrants who work like dogs . Unfair labour practices

I work non stop and feel it is not appreciated. Would love to move up in my career but no one speaks proper English and communication is difficult. I want to move to North America.I am happy when there are English speaking customers.

Culture of the Shereton is very good.

Lot. What is lot in Marriott it is life on time right. But this is only for the associate .. not for the executives...who is responsible for the whole department... We are doing above 12 hours duty..,,, there is no personal life we have.. income is like...... Suger cubes... No benifits nothing..... Plz check these for associate... If associate are doing extra for the company then company should have to do something for them... If extra hours are doing associate then his ot is utilised by the HR team.... Without any information.... And one more thing what about chefs.... Ot is only for the demi chef de party... What about the CDP... They are not human beings...hydrabad is very expensive city ... Extremely bais towards a particular group of people, highly communal, infra and work environment is pathetic, pathetic work culture , no work life balance , full turmoil no staffing, attrition rate is high, Marriott grants over time to associate level staff but management don't want to give over time , even in highly short staff, training, hygiene is a big joke here , everybody knows everything but it's a big drama that they play everyday to work and create stress baloon. Staff not even get offs properly people work here till they die for 14 to 15 hours....Read More
