Shell doesn't offer you career. It's a 3 year contract which doesn't necessarily mean you will be getting another role after 3 years. It's another struggle to get another role after 3 years. A lot of lobbying occurs in new role application process. A lot of rossy rossy scenarios are shown. A lot of expenditure is made for employees in the name of corporate gifts, expensive hotel stays, expensive restaurants and what not ! but all such expenditures are to distract the employees from the reality that their careers are not safe while working with Shell. Also company operations in India are not profitable. It's literally bleeding money. And new global management is driven by profitability. There is no stability in the mind of global management. They undermine the potential of Indian market. Just because business has not reached the break even sales , it will no longer be able to make profitability targets but global management are reluctant to invest more money to bear losses till break even point. Speaks about absence of entrepreneurial mindset in the organization. Mind you, salaries offered are above industry standards but they are nothing but distractions. Don't fall into that prey. Nothing went well, Very pathetic they don’t confirm you with in 6 months, they will torture you even you deliver good work and even the stake holder appreciations are not considered, only if you be a slave to your line manager you will be just seen, Shell talks about Respect, Value, Integrity. There is no respect, I am talking about customer operations teams Gyanavalli is very pathetic line manager. She is an Unethical women. Targets the team members if they are not ok with her ideas… she shouts on floor, in meetings and so many.. it is very bad experience working with her as a team member.. I think Shell is one of the best company in the world where you can upskill and improve yourself in every aspect. Company work culture and Policy for employee is very attractive. They really care for employee wellbeing and here Policy is not only on Paper. There is good work life balance in this company.

Salary structure they can improve. But they are giving good as per Market standard. But they can pay good salary to employees who deserve.

The leadership team keeps changing the org structure every 2 years without thinking about the impact of it on the staff. No vision at all. Technical folks are treated like second class people since it’s oil and gas company. The leadership team keeps changing and so does their goals. They force people to do unnecessary training’s and certifications which are of no use in real life.
