Compensation is as per market standards but you will find many variations on same roles which is frustrating.

Dislikes

Works on old technologies and tools. Lot of politics and bad state of processes. Dogmatic managers appointed as leaders, they will not pull you up but push you down if don't say yes to everything. Very low on job security, many people fired just because of cost cutting and to meet extravagant spending by the COO. Indian leadership team is skewed and works with a closed mindset, allergic to new ideas....Read More

Current Job Situation: I’ve been working at TCS for over 2.5 years, with a total experience of 4.5 years. My salary is 9.6 LPA, and I work with technologies like Casper framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, Java, PL/SQL, and JBoss. While I have good job security and flexibility, I feel like I’m working with outdated technologies and have a lot of leisure time, which is affecting my motivation. Concerns: 1. Outdated Tech: I’m worried that working with older tech will limit future opportunities. Should I stay or move to a role with newer technologies? 2.
