Job security is a very good positive point. Salary is satisfactory I would say. A lot of benefits are given to the employees like company transport, food, medical checkups, gym, consultation with dieticians, therapists etc. Employees get to work on business trips overseas.

Dislikes

I don't find the work satisfactory. Very limited tech. stack is involved and skill development is low. You usually work on the same Technology over and over. The increment and promotions are also a negative point. Increment in salary is very less and promotions take a lot of time. The upper management is also of old mindset like asking about every little things etc.

They don’t work on modern technologies like in web React.js , Node.js . Very few teams work . Most of there code bases are in C,C++ and java

There is nothing to like about samsung. Well Samsung is a terrible place for your skill development, especially in India, because Koreans are the real developers over there, Indians are considered as cheap labors whom they hire for side works like bug resolving. The culture is intoxicating, you might even think of jumping from the roof of a multistory building as there is zero support from your manager and the staff member. Especially from a specific team FRAMEWORK R&D, well what should I say, the culture is the worst as over there, there is one guy, he is the lead of this team of 200+ members, everyone calls him "NAAG", he is more toxic than a toxic girlfriend. Take this as a warning, if you can likk the bolls of this guy, join the company else simply reject the offer. Mental Peace is more important than money. The power over there is in the hands of some ~40 years old guys, with almost negative knowledge about there own work, and asks freshers to do the entire work without contributing at all. They don't provide even a bit of KT and just blabber about how we need to do the work and come on time, stay till late, this is the only job of old farts aka managers.
