I am writing dislikes and likes here only. Culture at Samsung electronic is very good, koreans along with Indian HR do think alot for employess. You get free meal with great cuisine and taste.vending machine all over plant, coffe machine for CCD, in plant resturant, rest time X3 for 10 min along with break. Great beneif8ts for employees, bonuses are good, free online course learning of any type linkined with proffesion platform and certification. Free buses. great work life balance. Only issue is that most of the employes are working here for long time. As in my feild we have worked on new as well as updating technologies as they are not aware of these things it very difficult to work along them. Also if any employee working in a company feom past 10 to 15 yrs they generate egotistical nature against newcomers which are young in age and have high technical and working experience. This is where its gets bad as appraisal is common for all grades. Pormotion forget it. Higher managed not so experienced only knows yes sir ok sir. They are dependent on HQ for any type of changed in your machine. So no chance to show your skill. If you say so you are done. Just sit relax and do what you are told to do. Personally i am against this as i have a developing and learning nature. Managers Are worst. SRI-D DTV Product team has the managers who are good for nothing. Still they do show off like they are the show runners. Even they are not able to clear a simple programming test. Some of the product managers did cheating on software tests still they were not able to clear it :) . Also there is a lot of internal politics inside the team<mark style="background-color: #fff5e4;">. You will have to wait long for your promotion even though you are doing well but not licking to your managers</mark>. Unlike SRID, Samsung Korea had a very good culture and your manager will be technically very strong and always support in technical growth. Still if you want a handsome salary and you are good in coding, you can easilly survive....Read More

Increment depends upon company condition, I have not found any salary increment in my working period of 2.5 years, however I had got promotion from Jr engg. to Sr engg.
