I joined 3 years ago. But the new employee with same experience was hired at a higher salary recently. This disappointed me and I decided to look for alternatives aggressively. Before making the final call, I talked to management. They explained me how internal "parity" works and in certain situations, during critical times, they have to hire employees with slightly higher salary, but they do not forget the old ones.
