Good learning if you are a would be entreprenure.Good to know how start-ups work, their challenges, their strategical mistakes etc.Cash flow vis-a-vis salary generation etc.

Dislikes

In this organization the CEO is everything. These are the guys who are suffering from " I KNOW IT ALL SYNDROME"....they step into R&D, production, designing, engineering, sales & marketing and finally finance. Interest is fine, but what happens is they are from some blue blooded instituitions and are not subjected to failures...hence complacency sets in to believe that the innovation is numero uno and will do havoc in the market, much to their fancies. Business results might reciprocate differently....Read More

Work Details

I am working as HEAD-Sales & Marketing with this Organization since last 9 months and found this organization to be pretty unstable career wise. Revenues are very very unstable. Investors had vanished, operations cost superseeding revenues.

Work days: Monday to Friday (Flexible Timings)

Work related travel: This job involves Travel Within Country.

Seeking advice on current job

Current Job Situation: I’ve been working at TCS for over 2.5 years, with a total experience of 4.5 years. My salary is 9.6 LPA, and I work with technologies like Casper framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, Java, PL/SQL, and JBoss. While I have good job security and flexibility, I feel like I’m working with outdated technologies and have a lot of leisure time, which is affecting my motivation. Concerns: 1. Outdated Tech: I’m worried that working with older tech will limit future opportunities. Should I stay or move to a role with newer technologies? 2.
