Kind of work, I'm getting as product manager in co branded credit card. nothing to learn, you just need to follow an already defined path. most work is related to RBI guideline so you can't really apply your brain. you just do whatever RBI asks to do.

Corporate level planning for customer base expansion is faulty. They keep Retail Account opening balance as 30,000 when other Private Banks doing the same in 3000. For current account they want a businessman who is already having a current account in other Bank. But Senior Managers will pressurize Bank Sales n Operations team to open Account, sell Life Insurance etc.

Never stand on promise as Banker still asks to work Weekend with shift allowance. Lots of politics. Long serving resource dont promote job security. Unhygiene work place. Shortage of chair, table, to keep laptop. Terrible attendance and HR mobile application.

Since it is a growing bank one gets to learn about the core banking operations specially the one's who are in service.

Dislikes

There is no work life balance. Not suitable.for women as working hours is generally stretched to 10 - 11 hrs easily alomst everyday. No clarity on who are the reporting managers specifically in service. Trainings are video call based on working days for a straight 9 hrs where in u will also have to do the daily works assigned as you are present in the branch

Few Managers are good Like Nithin State head AP Ts Head is very good and Supportive.. Remaining higher persons are not good

Credit department is very very poor... Especially in AP.. They acting like working They are not supporting sales in business development.. They are only revenue losers in RBL.. Senior credit people spoiling Company, They are enjoying like government sector jobs.. Fact
