The factory basically manufacturing Rail wheel and it's axles , including the final assembly of the same. The entire process of casting the wheel is carried out using scrap wheels. Axles are made by forging. The meteorological and Design standards and quality are ensured throughout the process.

I learnt lot of things as we are free from interference. We can take our own decisions while attending breakdowns to restore. Good working atmosphere we use to work as a team. All the staff, supervisors and officers are very cooperative. Management is taking very good interest about staff welfare.

Though it is a government organisation it works like a private company. Atmosphere is good and I personally enjoyed my tenure of 35yrs though there were many ups and down
