Stock program and appraisal increment is good. Employee benefit programs are great. Learning cure is good but for limited years say 2-3yrs and later it becomes monotonous.

Poor management. Micromanaging and politics in the team. Few Managers seriously lack management skills. Just being good at your work doesn’t gain promotion instead it depends on how well you boast your manager and say YES to everything. No one to supervise managers competence as it’s all rigged up the ladder. Some people comprise and stay just for the sake of stocks. Future prospects doesn’t look great. Salary and team people behaviour is good. My team behaves well and respect each other. They will not give you their personal work. They dont play politics here. They will not tell ypu to work on weekends, but you have to work as the work is high

Dislikes

Very high pressure even for freshers, no proper training, they expect you understand by yourself, many people left due to this. No proper training materials, no focus on team building, no focus on empowering new people. Even seniors work till 9 pm , reqwuired at least 3-4 years to know the basics. Worst food So much high pressure that u literraly cry 2 years bond on joining bonus They make you feel you are the stupidiest person on planet. 15-18 years experience guy wants a guy who joined 6 months back to work like superman. They dont teach you anything, you have to figure out by yourself. This is the worst company to work for Work is so much that some days i get back pain and i got fever. If you want to feel this come here, and start writing worst review than this. I never seen any freshers who dont want to leave this company. Work per head is very very high. Learning wise excellent and colleagues support was very good.Can share knowledge.overall the experience in gaining knowledge and work was excellent but we don't get much support from management.

I struggled a lot from beginning onwards with bad management but i never bothered about it and focused on my learning,gain knowledge and become expert on it.whatever management assigned me did all kind of tasks but they never gave me a chance to work on my area of interest.Management forcefully moved me to other team where my growth was stuck at that point.I faced many struggles but never stopped learning.But recently i was laid off due to politics.my manager and Director started targeting me without any reason and the management completely failed in proper validation.My manager and Director just spoiled my career growth.My whole family with my parents are struggling a lot but they never called me back after layoff.So this clearly indicates that they wantedly did it.So i would request the management for proper validation was done and also they should take the voting from all the colleagues worked with but should not depend upon the Director decision.I strongly recommend to take serious action upon the people who disturb the hard working persons,just simply don't work and disturbs the working environment....Read More

Culture at Qualcomm is worst. Managers are like robots, no human thing at all. Staff Engineers thinks they know all, they are RIGHT. Close minded people works at Qualcomm. No team bonding. You can't grow here technically.

Pretty bad politics. People will hit you from back and leave you on ground. No one will know. Seems some preferred employees have multiple personality disorders. All major layoffs were targeted towards employees who were just "disliked" by managers and not based on performance. Managers have made it like a old day job and come to office to show their face only. Worked in a group in South India and was run by South Indians only. In my first year after coming back from US I was personally terrorized threatened and insulted by a lead engineer to wash his feet and play down before his ego. When reported to Director after a year it was brushed aside. Since the very start not a single wish by peers or managers for work anniversary, life events etc except only to selected few favorite employees on office email and personally on whatsapp group by managers</mark>. Mangers always have double standard and talk on the back. Even in the end they backstabbed me and played foul politics. Principal Engineer and similar people plays fanatic orthodox religious ideology and sell those religious ideologies to other employees. They come to office to only play politics and sell their religion. Strategy is simple divide and rule and act on employees in biased manner. If you wash their feet, they will promote you, if not you will be under their radar and fired under cover when mass layoffs happen....Read More

So many. Many people say it depends on the team. But I do see many employees in different teams suffer alot, even the day I do see salary in my account doesn't give me happiness. Pay/Benifits are not at all worth of the suffer that we go through in Qualcomm. Mainly Hyderabad office, I do seelot of psycho people in management and lead positions who makes unnecessary discussions with employees and yell on them for nothing</mark>. No body is professional, nothing is organised, too much work pressure, even if there's no work still they will pressure you in some other way, humiliates you, degrades you(though they are actually the degraded ones). Sooo terrible and toxic work culture, that I resigned after 5 months of joining.
