Learning wise excellent and colleagues support was very good.Can share knowledge.overall the experience in gaining knowledge and work was excellent but we don't get much support from management.

I struggled a lot from beginning onwards with bad management but i never bothered about it and focused on my learning,gain knowledge and become expert on it.whatever management assigned me did all kind of tasks but they never gave me a chance to work on my area of interest.Management forcefully moved me to other team where my growthwas stuck at that point.I faced many struggles but never stopped learning.But recently i was laid off due to politics.my manager and Director started targeting me without any reason and the management completely failed in proper validation.My manager and Director just spoiled my career growth.My whole family with my parents are struggling a lot but they never called me back after layoff.So this clearly indicates that they wantedly did it.So i would request the management for proper validation was done and also they should take the voting from all the colleagues worked with but should not depend upon the Director decision.I strongly recommend to take serious action upon the people who disturb the hard working persons,just simply don't work and disturbs the working environment....Read More

No work life balance, will be calling you on weekend and never get satisfied, long working hours as always and leads will tell you to give more time as its your early phase of carrier but I saw leads also working late

Culture at Qualcomm is worst. Managers are like robots, no human thing at all. Staff Engineers thinks they know all, they are RIGHT. Close minded people works at Qualcomm. No team bonding. You can't grow here technically.

Best is flexible work hours. Pay is also good.

Pretty bad politics. People will hit you from back and leave you on ground. No one will know. Seems some preferred employees have multiple personality disorders. All major layoffs were targeted towards employees who were just "disliked" by managers and not based on performance. Managers have made it like a old day job and come to office to show their face only. Employees are fighting like cats and dogs to get a promotion which in the end goes to relatives of Directors....Read More

Worked in a group in South India and was run by South Indians only. In my first year after coming back from US I was personally terrorized threatened and insulted by a lead engineer to wash his feet and play down before his ego. When reported to Director after a year it was brushed aside. Since the very start not a single wish by peers or managers for work anniversary, life events etc except only to selected few favorite employees on office email and personally on whatsapp group by managers. Mangers always have double standard and talk on the back. Even in the end they backstabbed me and played foul politics. Principal Engineer and similar people plays fanatic orthodox religious ideology and sell those religious ideologies to other employees. They come to office to only play politics and sell their religion. Strategy is simple divide and rule and act on employees in biased manner.
