I have work for almost 9 year with PHTPB IDIPT in ADB Assisted Project the Learning and Skill developed there were very Awsome and still after leaving them still no other organization has allowed me such opportunity

Almost 60-70 percent staff was retired and they have drowned the department

Management is very poor. There is no future. Job is not secure. Anything they terminate without any reason.there is aOf politics.

There is a lot of politics and management doesn’t address our issues.salary is decent but career growth is slow.

PHTPB is a stationary body under Ministry of Tourism, Punjab. The basic role of above mentioned is to promote tourism in the state and development and restoration/conservation of heritage/historic sites. Same time the board has various new modern projects. I worked in engineering wing. It was great to work over there. All engineers are well versed with modern technology of steel and concrete. But it was a great platform to learn the restoration work that too 300 to 400 years back. The handcrafted brick architectural members were unique. Stuco work with lime motor has it's own class. The major work which I did was at Gobind Garh Fort, Amritsar, Darbar Hall at Kapurthala and many such others. Dislikes

Nothing I dislike over there. Just it was limited period contract of 2 years with Punjab Governmen after working 10 yearslong in Dubai. Salary was not so high but was paid in time. Hope to join again.

Work Details

Since the work was involved in consevation/restoration of ancient historic sites, it was really a great platform to learn. Really it was great and exciting.

Work days: Alternate Saturday off (Strict Timings)

Work related travel: This is a desk job.
