Principal Global Services is a good company to work with. There is absolutely nothing which is not good a about it, work culture is good, company policies are employee friendly, management is supportive. Head Office(US counter parts are good as well). What is really important is Job security and if one works average to good from performance perspective then for him/her there are no issues.

Dislikes

To be honest there is nothing which one would dislike about PGS, its good organisation to work with.

Work Details

Great when it comes to work life balance. You don’t have to slog, going forward it might change but right now its good.

Work days: Monday to Friday (Flexible Timings)

Work related travel: This is a desk job.

Current Job Situation: I’ve been working at TCS for over 2.5 years, with a total experience of 4.5 years. My salary is 9.6 LPA, and I work with technologies like Casper framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, Java, PL/SQL, and JBoss. While I have good job security and flexibility, I feel like I’m working with outdated technologies and have a lot of leisure time, which is affecting my motivation. Concerns: 1. Outdated Tech: I’m worried that working with older tech will limit future opportunities. Should I stay or move to a role with newer technologies? 2. Salary: Is my current package competitive for my experience? What salary should I aim for if I switch? Seeking Advice: What modern technologies should I learn to stay relevant?
