I have cleared all the interview rounds and i was waiting for the employment offer They put my profile on hold for a month. Then confirmed that "we are sorry to inform that we are not hiring "GENPACT" employees" which is unrealistic. Because, when they shortlist my profile - I mentioned all my employment detail in Resume. strange thing is I have bee interviewed by Manager, Sr. Manager and HR. Principal has been at its best in taking care of the employees in this Covid - 19 situation. Employees were provided with laptop & were allowed to WFH a week before the lockdown. Money for internet bill were also provided in advance & the amount is way more than what other companies are providing. We are getting weekly updates from senior management about how we are doing in this lockdown. In situation like this many companies are terminating employees contracts whereas PGS is providing hardship allowance for selected tiers over and above the salary....Read More

Got Rejected In an Interview, Just Because I Didn’t Answer a Personal Question

So, I got invited for this interview, and they told me to be there at 9 AM. Of course, I get there early, like 8:30, because I don't want to be late. But then I end up waiting for 1.5 hours. Seriously, they didn't even acknowledge me until 10. Then this HR lady calls me in, and she's totally unprofessional. She's like, on her phone, making personal calls while I'm sitting right there. And then she starts asking me these really weird questions, like what my nickname is, and what my dad does for a living. It got really uncomfortable when she started pressing for details about where my dad works. I mean, what does that have to do with anything? So I politely told her I didn't want to answer, and she actually said, "Then we can't continue this interview." I was honestly shocked. But instead of arguing, I just stood up and said, “Alright then.” And walked out. I left feeling pissed. Not only did they waste an hour of my time, but the HR rep was also rude and unprofessional..
