In PDVSA, I had worked since 1985. I was trained to wokk in the whole engineering area: inspector in field, design, operations and maintenance of oil installations. Subsequently occupy supervisory positions; Head of workshops, head of pipelines, etc

The political situation of the country was taken into the company, INTEVEP depends on the state and has been politicized making it hard for people of other political tendencies

Pdvsa was a great company. Training was executed every year and your career growth was determined by your performance, which was evaluated every year. Your salary was according to your responsabilities and I had the oportunity to go to different Congresses, Seminars, and international activities in different parts of the world.
Dislikes
Not much. There were times where free time was off the table because work needed to be done.

Pdvsa is the State Oil Company of Venezuela and was known as a first world company in a third world country. Our operational and economic indicators were the perfect witnesses of what I just mentioned.
