Low career Opportunities and no compensation and career growth. Low salary growth too and no respect to the executive. The company management only thinks about the numbers of titles instead of the quality. Every time a new process change disturb the working process the TLS system is if no use. I was in the development team for year and a half use to develop the video titles for them, use to talk to other stakeholders author for the content and make sure it get published on the time.

There's no particular points to dislike this place, the scope of growing and building a lasting career comes to a stall at a point. Might be different for different roles but it's a great place to work.

Flexible timings is something that's amazing about Packt. You get to work from home as well.

Dislikes

If you work at Packt you won't have a personal life. You'll be forced to work day and night. The work distribution is very bad, some people have very little work and some have alot of work. Honestly, if you are unlucky, you'll get the worst team and alot of work.

The work culture is really good here. Especially during Covid, the management provided support to help staff with financial and any sort of help that could be required. The work from anywhere culture has really been an add on.
