Dislikes

Sometimes, I wish there was more time to focus on exploring new opportunities within the projects we work on.

I joined Odessa 5 years back at a junior level. However, today it is great to work in this position. I recently took L&D courses in Odessa and it was very helpful for upgrading my technical skills. Overall, the company is quite good to work with.

Dislikes

Since the office is located at the traffic hub, sometimes travel becomes quite hectic.

The free lunch, team engagement activities, and others are worth it at Odessa. What I especially like is that the company gives us a chance to learn new technologies and improve our skills. It is great to work in such a vibrant work culture.

It's been two months since I joined Odessa and my Overall Experience till now has been fairly good. The interview process was well-organized which was refreshing to see. My Induction was also great. My Hiring manager took me through all of the processes - leave policies, work culture, team equation, among other things. I am looking forward to working and learning more.

Ample time is given to complete any task. Resources to help you gain knowledge to do your work effectively is provided.

Dislikes

The HR and higher management keeps saying there are no layoffs but that's a lie. The management team says there are great profits coming in but during promotions or appraisal there ain't anything to prove that. Anytime you ask a question, there's no one to give a straight forward answer, anyone will try and avoid answering any questions about the work culture.

The leadership trusts us to take decisions and gives the right amount of guidance when needed. The learning opportunities are plenty. and they help me stay ahead in the industry.

Dislikes

No complaints as of now. The overall experience has been very satisfying.

Food benefits, hybrid work, some managers were good, but they left or put papers now mostly women mangers left who don't want to take risks, they have limited exposure to system outside industry as they never worked outside Odessa. They just know some part of system well and taking advantage of the same. I remember this manager and under her some 4 people about to leave or left in year, still I don't think HR's takes into account all these signals. Thier future is secure but if you want to really want something to consider for long term growth better avoid it. 1. They bought in Hybrid it according to me it just made good people leave nothing positive I would say according to me. 2. Limited exposure as leasing is not that much popular, loan capability Odessa has is far from any matured system only loan management you can do, loan origination has little features. As an organization it provides enough exposure to employees who have already spent good number of years in protecting them/growing them in all aspects. Few employees who have performed well/in good terms with the leadership get best possible backing in growing within the organization.

Dislikes

Dummy feedback system. Non-professional HRs. Very bad planning as an organization. Sometimes I felt like the vision is not very clear.

The promotion policies are worst. There are no such tools or work ex that you get which you can employ in other companies. The notice period of 3 months is uncalled for. Top Management is not supportive and not prepared for doing business.
