Northern trust is a very good organisation to work in subject to team you go in. Company's management beleives in partner's personal growth and there are many initiatives to learn and grow at company level.

Dislikes

Saying "people don't leave organisations they leave managers and toxic work culture" stand very true in my case. Northern trust is a great organisation to work in but 3rd party FC in Hedge fund is the worst team to work in. Team culture is very toxic because of one manager, I like my work I used to like going to work but that's all the past. Manager is a bully mentality person and loves to see people beg to him all the time be it sick leave or well deserved promotion. Dislikes

Northern trust doesn't give you good compensations, they are more concerned about the work and hence ignores the importance of compensations and appraisals for individuals.

If only I had an option to rate this Organization a ZERO. It is a total waste to invest our time and energy when the Organization doesn't care about its employees and do not adhere by their own made So called "Policies". Its all good only when they are at job doing donkey service. Once u leave the company, you are not even human for them. PATHETIC.

Management is flexible. The work is interesting and work environment is really great. Team members are extremely helpful and patient.

Dislikes

Extremely outdated technology that forces the analyst to manually log in entries. The time taken to fix data issues because of old tech could be used in better improving a process.
