Joyful friendly culture. No micromanagement. Recognition. No politics. Work life balance. Well it also depends on team to team

Dislikes

Sometimes managers are not capable of understanding capabilities of their reporters resulting on loosing valuable resources. There are some top level leaders who just believe in those who can just flatter.

Looking for advice on how to navigate career as a data engineer

Hi, I have recently joined TCS as a fresher and i am looking to break into data engineering. Previously I was working as a Python developer intern at Nokia(10 months) , but due to the recession I didn't get the PPO. Now at Tcs i have got a support role with low tech involvement. I fear that I might lose my development edge here and won't be able to move into data engineering. I would be grateful for any advice on how I can navigate the situation. I have also started to learn about data engineering.
