As an oil and gas production company most of the tasks usually involves team work from various departments say, Production, Maintenance, Logistics, HSE, Public Affairs, HR etc to accomplish. A job involving maintenance still require a team of professionals to accomplish. At every facet of work team work is a basic requirements.Periodic Training programs are essential for staff development and motivation. Job security is guaranteed in view of the fact that oil and gas production is the economic main stay of Nigeria.Company has career growth part far all levels of staff according to performance and management priority. Salary/Appraisal review are carried out bi-annually by management in concert with workers union. Training is management tool to enhance performance and productivity. My work career in Nigerian Agip Oil Company was eventful and resourceful. The management was rewarding as I grew from the ranks as Electrical technician to level of Assistant Manager Maintenance in 35years of dint of hard work.
