A project was moved to NEC software solutions in 2020. Everything i gave better rating is coz of Project I was part of, and project managers/leads here.

Dislikes

At NEC, the people at higher level are rigid and narrow minded. They want things to be done their way though its outdated. HRs are very rude and way too harsh. For everything they speak so rudely as if we are not employee but people working for them. They themselves wear clothes which are revealing and ask other employees to not to enter office even employee is wearing decent enough (if they are present for few minutes).HR ask us to visit the site/documents for updates and when they are supposed to put in the site, they give explanations for not posting in site. Comp doesn't have better facilities which are basic like workspace, toilets, cafeteria. There is no cafeteria and no good food outlets in walkable distance.<mark style="background-color: #fff5e4;"> Salary and benefits are very low</mark>. They provide hike with condition (like retention bonus). They change any year in any way for each person without prior notice. No fixed salary structure as per band or level. For promotions mangers have to fight like dogs with higher level management. recently started fun activities but everything after 6pm (working hours). NEC higher management people didn't put enough efforts to make NEC Bangalore people like they are part of NEC software solutions. The best benefit one can get working with NEC is job security. I've not seen people being fired unless they have done anything really serious. The management is also supportive and environment is really good and welcoming.

Dislikes

I think the thing that can be improved is salary structure. It's not at all employee friendly. Also there's a component monthly retention bonus which is 10% of ur gross package. You have return it back when leaving the company.

Overall the experience was good. Flexible timing, work culture..etc were good.

Dislikes

Compensation is where things can get a little better for freshers who have been working for more than 2+ years.
