Notice period, early join

My current company notice period is two months 23-Dec-2024 to 20-feb-2024. But my new employer asking for early join ie 3rd of feb! I requested for early relieve to My current employer. Verbally they agreed to relieve two weeks early but now they not ready to relieve early. They want me to complete two months notice period. My new employer asking to join early! What can I do? Maybe the policies are OK

Dislikes

Multiple things. Their appraisals is worst in the market. Their technical aspect of the company is pathetic. The company is too small to accommodate all the employees at once. No proper skill development policy. No class room training’s are provided. Too much regional bias is there. No on-site opportunity as always they are running out of budget.
