Lots of Learning & Skill Development. HR Policies are well designed. Company tries hard to retain good talent but only in terms of offerring Non-Financial Perks.

Too much politics as you go up the ladder. Perception driven promotions and appraisal. Abundance of mediocre talent and lack of quality work. Shortage of employees leading to dissatisfaction and overburdening.

Those who start their career with NPCI can sustain better since this is their first exposure but for experienced it is definitely not the place to be in.

Dislikes

Extremely burocratic in nature. They go by perception than merit. Even on leaves seniors donnot hesitate to call you, pull you up when you have been away on your time off, even after sending mails, you are expected to personally reach out to the senior's cabin saying "hey i emailed you just now.please have a look"

Disastrous HR management. 35 percentage variable pay in CTC, unnecessary inflating the CTC. FIXED is so low that employee will go into depression. Being a semi government company the compensation policy is worst than private companies. Everyday office. Less public holidays. No Diwali / Birthdays gifts.
