Narayana School is a Great institution for learning and skills development but in terms of salary, appraisal and other benefits i will give rating as 5 out of 10. In terms Management in Kolkata it's good but in branch level management varries. There is no overtime and bonus for non-teaching employees. Working hours are fixed for allstaff but in branch level it's not at all followed in West Bengal. Even school timings also vary branch to branch. Comparing to other Big Schools in West Bengal Narayana Accountants are getting very low salary. There is no overtime and bonus for any staff, Comp-off is not there, Very low salary appraisal in terms of in-hand salary. ESI and PF both employee and employer share deducted from employee salary which make in-hand salary very low. There is no standard rules and regulations for all branches in West Bengal. The most toxic culture of academical industry can be seen here. People are insecure as their is less scope for career developments, skill developments and learning. similar to any other corporate culture, its also based on favoritism, nepotism and buttering. On top of that its expected from you to serve/answer calls (from students parents) on out of business hours and they are not going to pay for that, also in the cases of long zoom calls/classes you need to burn your mobile data. Neglecting Bengali subject. Being a senior teacher getting very less salary where's new comers getting high salary. In Salary system very much discrimination, some getting very high and some getting very low. It should be equal. Very frequently changing Principles.
