Toxic Work Environment

Hi Everyone. I recently joined a company to grow, but the work environment is toxic. The manager is rude, doesn’t guide, and gets angry when I ask questions. They rely on Excel for tasks instead of proper tools like Jira, and tasks lack clear details. Many seniors have quit, and the team is disorganized. HR couldn’t help, and the stress is affecting my mental health. Should I stay or resign? Will leaving early harm my career? If I stay, how can I manage this .without losing my peace?

Directors/Owners are well educated and good people.

Dislikes

Legal Dept. Head Mrs.Prachi Gosavi is not mature enough and non efficient to manage and handle the legal department. She is always busy in blame game within her team and harasses subordinates working with heŕ. You have to be watchful and very careful while working in the legal dept.

All work as family. Director are involved personally so they know how work is going on who is good in work. Always think about client and want to give best product

Working hours for higher seniors is same and is more Office staff is having 2nd and 4th Saturday off but site team is not having that off site team Working hrs are more by 1hrs than Office staff

Salary gets delayed for 2-3 Months. Bonus which is part of salary, management doesn't pay citing reason company is in crisis. Management goes for foreign trips twice a year. Don't deposit PF on timely basis. (PF enquiry keeps happening, ongoing case in court) Management are not on same page, difference of opinion. Increments happen only for selected favorites. Has not happened for 3 years.

Thank you for your feedback, but would like to clarify few points mentioned by you. Salary happens every month in Naiknavare Developers, hence stating that it gets delayed for 2-3 months is false. Instead we also have additional benefits of Variable incentives which also happen on a monthly basis. Diwali Bonus has also been paid to all employees just recently in October 2024. Annual Increments/appraisals have been happening regularly for past 3 years for all eligible employees as per company policy.
