Morningstar has good diversity in terms of Nationalities and preferences. working flexibility is good and adequate.

Dislikes

HRBP of the Sustainalytics business division is useless. The company hired more people than its sitting capacity which lead to a scarcity of seating arrangements. The company shifted to a hybrid working style but due to weak infra issue, it is difficult to manage.

On all the negative points that i have mentioned they always keep talking about good work culture which is confined to the fact that you can take leave anytime you want.

No skill development, no credible work, very below the average salary. You wouldn't reach a six figure salary even after 4 or 5 years working in the company.

The team with product consulting mixes 3 jobs into one role and is severely overworked with no proper sick leaves and sick leaves being considered as unplanned which affect your KPIs if more than 3 in a month. That's just terrible. Work hours and conditions are terrible. Other teams in the company have much better working conditions

The work culture is pretty good if you compare it to the Big 4s or the major Indian firms. The work itself is not too stressful, although it depends on your team and the manager.

Expect absolutely 0% growth in your career and skills during your time here. This is a dead end job which will just be good to pay your bills but kill your growth in the long run. It’s like working at a 100 year old Indian Public Bank with the same systems and processes, copy and paste model. You’ll always feel stuck and frustratedhere no matter how long you’ve been here. I’d advise working at a different company where you’ll have to burn the midnight oil for a year, but could equip yourself with the right skills ensuring long term growth. 1) Morningstar is very employee-centric company. 2) Best work-life balance that I have seen 3) Work=life satisfaction and compnay culture are much better than other companies, but at the cost of low pay.

Dislikes

1) Morningstar is one of the lowest_paying companies compared to industry standards. 2) There is zero tranparency regarding promotion and appaisals. 3) The company has a very high turnover for the above reasons.
