The job is well secured and you have a set pattern of work culture. Very competitive. Excellent man management and we'll laid down policy exists here. Appraisal are excellent. There are always chances of growth. Overall an excellent Job place with adequate time space.n

Dislikes

Sometimes policies are rigid & there less space given to the juniors in management sphere. Career growth slow with pyramadic shaped promotion policies.

Working hours is very stringent. Some young managers are very dynamic having ideas for property and development of the Institutions but the rule are the main constraint to do so. traditional concept of management creates hindrance in the most of the development activities, poor foresightedness make the institution week to compete globally</mark>. As a result after elapsing of considerable time we still depend on Imports despite we are having 41 Factories with plenty of resources. Utilization of resources are very poor moreover Defence Accounts department's interference in all aspects not considering the technical viability creates non productive environment. Employees remains present for 9 hours but give only 3 - 4 hours defectively in the production activity and to produce quality product. In my opinion it is the best possible profession for a job seeker. There can not be any better organisation which can give you satisfaction in all walks of life. It gives ample opportunities to hard working and innovative thinkers. It teaches one the best possible lessons on HR and Management. In Army you get an opportunity to be a leader, a teacher, a pupil, a student, a mentor, a socialist, a welfare officer, an advocate, a judge. I would say you name a trade and Army provides one an opportunity to work in it. The best part is you come across people from all possible corners of the country and all possible cultures. The experience one gains out of this needs no explanation. Compensation though is decent but in comparison to bureaucrats it is quite less. Biggest problem is slower promotions and stagnation. The systematic downgrading of status of defense forces is also demoralizing
