In my opinion it is the best possible profession for a job seeker. There can not be any better organisation which can give you satisfaction in all walks of life. In Army you get an opportunity to be a leader, a teacher, a pupil, a student, a mentor, a socialist, a welfare officer, an advocate, a judge. Compensation though is decent but in comparison to bureaucrats it is quite less. Biggest problem is slower promotions and stagnation. The systematic downgrading of status of defense forces is also demoralizing
