This company just plays with the life of employees, there is no sense of happiness when you work here. High level of politics happen at the management level at each store and when they feel some employee is brutally loyal, honest or hardworking they ensure that person is no longer working with metro in next 2-3 months . They will target him and defame him and the employee will mentally jus break down and leave for greener pastures....Read More

The appraisal system is a SHAM. Ratings are fixed, lots of politics and partiality happens in the General Managers cabin at each store and people are given hikes based on their relationship with the AGMs and GMs.Also every audit shows Shrink at each store and no one takes the blame, it's written off from the books and no analysis isdone as to where the material might be or who would have thefted it. Also the way HR behaves with people is like they really dont care about us.they sit in cabins, check FB, what's app, go on breaks and hardly actually work in a day because of which new candidates leave without any notice<mark style="background-color: #fff5e4;">. Also now people in the market refuse to work for Metro because of the salary being given in hand which is 8600/- without any pf or esi where as other companies like big Bazar, reliance, dmart pay better than that to fresher's</mark>. I trust on metro and i know of employees are delivering thair 100% then metro is always supporting them for each and every parameter. Policies and process is good and management is also helps a lot .

As per my rating and my observation metro is one of the good organization but as i have observed, at the store label Team Lead and below employees are getting very poor Salary/Stipend because on store label their is lots of task and work load for TL and below employees but they are getting salary as per the workloadround-color: #fff5e4;">. Because other fashion and normal grocery stores are giving good salary on initial label employees</mark>. This is my own opening and no any expectation on behalf of this feedback.
