Marpu Foundation has provided all the incentives and necessary support for a fresh intern to work and polish their skills. As expected of one of the largest volunteering organisations of India that is still growing and has also been awarded the Best NGO Award in 2020. The work-life balance has put no toll on one's health and quality work can be done due to the supportive and welcoming environment that is offered here. Information is told from the get-go and to the point with their set ideals and goals also listed for complete understanding leaving no room for doubts and being vigilant if any arise. Dislikes

Only downside would be that the WhatsApp groups are a one way street and only admins are allowed to enter anything. However, they are all easy and comfortable to approach if and when needed.

I was part of a week long writing internship. The working members there were very supportive. They were very kind to help and support wherever required. My skill development was good at here.

Marpu foundation is a youth organisation that tackles a variety of social issues. While working here I was able to be a part of a project to make education more accessible to children with visual impairment. I was also able to polish my content making skills at Marpu foundation.

Dislikes

The internship here was very short and not much exposure to other volunteering activities that the foundation takes part in.
