Likes

Lowe's as a company promotes healthy work env. Lots to learn and lots to explore new tech. Lowes provides internal movement so that you dont have to look outside. I moved from unix team to Big data. You own your own carrer. Managers and leads are vey techie. I have been working since 3 years and still now i don't have any plans to switch.

Salary - Good
Skill development - Good
Job security - Good
Promotions - Good
Work satisfaction - Good
Company culture - Excellent
Work-life balance - Good

Dislikes

In terms of work and env i dont think I would have anything negative but the process to adapt new tech is slow but it doesn't bother as long as you are committed to it. It come to pass .

Work Details

Work everyday is exciting. You can choose to be inovative and share with your team and manager. You can expect least hurdle. Work life balance is good. Travel is less . They max give you 3 weeks.

Work days: Monday to Friday (Flexible Timings)

Work related travel: This job involves International Travel.

Guys I am in PIP and feeling stressed all days

I had fight with code reviewer he is from other team he is just arrogant and he complains to my manager , The manager gives wrong and negative feedback though I am technically sound , but got released by from the project by the manager After that I got new project it was only 2 month I done all most all work got spot award also for this by working more than 12 hours . Because of this overwork I am feeling stressed and new project is coming to me and they just asking me about justification for all 1 Guys I am in pip but new manager said(may be choclate to employee) we will retain you by giving good feedback 2 All people in the company want to take me in projects but asking me justification for pip 3.Working more than 12 hours every day and also attending late night calls I am stressed out every day with working hours and also the justification given to others lot of politics happening . Mentally draining with no patner in my life to share this who can understand this and guid .
