Likes

Strict 9 to 5 working, no interference from anybody after 5 PM, leave can be taken at any point of time no one can ask any question on your leave either it is paid or Lop. The work will be at your independent discretion with scrutiny of higher authority such as the Chancellor and Pro Chancellor's office.

Salary - Good
Job security - Good
Work-life balance - Excellent

Dislikes

Interference of HR, and so much of policies to comply with regarding activities. However, everything depends and your life at work will depend on the behavior of your department head. If he/she is a nice and humble person you will like working otherwise in some cases it became worst in other departments of my colleagues.

Promotions - Poor

Work days: Monday to Saturday (Strict Timings)

Work related travel: This is a desk job.

I got an offer from both the companies, manager role. Flipkart’s offer: fixed (x) + variable pay + stock Deloitte’s offer: fixed (x+1) + variable + 1.5L joining bonus Variable pay % is the same. Flipkart is offering a sizeable huge chunk in stock. What should I consider apart from compensation? Annual hikes, WLB, work culture, etc? (Note that It’s a non IT role)
