Being a part of the Lifeline Foundation makes me proud. It is more than just a non-profit; it is a movement that has helped thousands of accident victims in India by saving their lives. I have been more aware of the Foundation's solid ethical foundation throughout the course of the last 7 months of our association. There are no shortcuts, dishonest tactics, or underhanded transactions allowed. Every person in the company has a real stake in their own life. The management is a strict taskmaster but yet very kind. My coworkers have told me that work, despite being stressful at times, is incredibly rewarding and enjoyable. Many opportunities for connection and education. Employee kinship is beneficial. There is a sense of family here. This culture of working together, eating together, traveling together for business, and taking company-sponsored vacations is present even at the highest levels of management. The family feeling. Hard work yet fun, challenging yet satisfying. We get scolded at times but there is always and always a pat on the back when a good job is done.
