Being a part of the Lifeline Foundation makes me proud. It is more than just a non-profit; it is a movement that has helped thousands of accident victims in India by saving their lives. I have been more aware of the Foundation's solid ethical foundation throughout the course of the last 7 months of our association. There are no shortcuts, dishonest tactics, or underhanded transactions allowed. Every person in the company has a real stake in their own life. The management is a strict taskmaster but yet very kind. My coworkers have told me that work, despite being stressful at times, is incredibly rewarding and enjoyable. Many opportunities for connection and education. Employee kinship is beneficial. There is a sense of family here. This culture of working together, eating together, traveling together for business, and taking company-sponsored vacations is present even at the highest levels of management. Everyone's expectation is that they can multitask. Advice to organization is choose workers who are passionate about Lifeline; it should be more than just a job for them.
