Apart from job security of Development Officers every aspect of working with Life Insurance Corporation of India is very good. You get suitable remuneration and perquisites for your job and the work culture is also good.

Dislikes

The job of a Development Officer is not like other Govt. jobs. Even if you are a permanent staff of the corporation, your job is liable to be terminated on non fulfilment of prescribed cost ratio. You do not get any mercy for a situation that is beyond your control. Even if you meet an accident and stay bed ridden for a long time, you will have to conform the your targets. If fallen short you will be reprimanded and may also loose your job....Read More
