Since merger with Sirona, the while focus is shifted to capital equipments while the consumable selling team is treated as second class citizens. There's lots of pressure from the management without any support. People are constantly being threatened that they may lose their jobs. Cross functional support is also very poor.

It's been 6 years working for the organization & things are getting worse since merger with Sirona. Without understanding the ground reality people are being pressurized. The pressure is so intense that sales people are forced to do wrongdoings.

Though every job has it's pros & cons but there after more pros than cons of working with Dentsply-Sirona. The leadership team is one that'll be working alongside you even when you might not know. You get to learn about new devlopments in dentistry every day. Your customers are depend upon you for knowledge of new things & you get to explain them & in some cases assist them when in procedure. During my tenure in this organization I also got the opportunity to travel & work in newer markets, which again is a great experience. Dislikes

The hierarchy tiers are very less so the path to growth is a little difficult. The support staff is some times lethargic & does not respond in time. Channel partners are a nightmare to work with & are the only cause of worry working with this organization.

Work Details

My work involves meeting with dentists & trying to sell them company products via the channel partner. The challenge arises because of the competition because the market in working in is oriented towards purchasing inexpensive products.
