L & T is a like a privately owned government company. They have great systems, but complex one for users. Its a good company for freshers as you can learn a lot. As you progress, you should be willingly relocate to project sites for growth and more learning. Rating plays a major role during appraisal. With 8 being the highest only5 % of the staffs gets the same. There is a big difference in terms of growth , monetary benefits between people who got 5 rating anf 8 rating. People who are in cadre M2 ( SENIOR MANAGER) and above are paid way too high than the lower cadred empoyees. Ratio to be bettered. Its a great company to work with.
