Overall a good employer with number of benefits of work life balance, diversify domain and learning opportunities. But company has potential for doing more great things.

Dislikes

Some teams has favouritism, some are heavily occupied, some are less then 50%. Employee engagement, clear path for middle management is lacking. Can improve on these areas.

Culture is getting worst year by year, They do the firing every year in name of Re-structuring & Cost Optimization. They have firstly closed their manufacturing plant in Kolkata due to no business, then did a joint venture with an Indian company to survive that plant. Even the increment % is average 5% for couple of years. Actually the fact is Metering business is very narrow & LandisGyr is not able to compete with other players and thats why this company's future is certainly not bright....Read More

The work life balance is good and the company pay well also. The leave policy here is also very good. People in the company are also helpful.

Dislikes

The company domain takes time to understand but there are a lot of people to help you.

Dislikes

Currently appraisal is not up to mark. earlier it used to be 10-12% minimum but this year it was 10-12% as maximum. Job security has been a concern lately for everyone.

Leaves around 40 but it has also been deteriorated by giving leaves per month instead of quaterly or yearly.

Micro management Artificial urgency of deadlines No personal space - manager can ask at any time after work hours update of tickets or do work. To stop people leaving, people upgraded to managerial position - so you can imagine how do they will manage. Lay offs of many people. No flexibility at all. Fooling new people in name ofhybrid office in reality there ate 4 days office + 1 day WFH. Soon it is going to be 5 days office. Upper management is very poor. No growth....Read More

The Company has no Job Security. HR doesn't respond for Employees. Firing can happen anytime. A Finance person can also make you fire for Small bill mistake for tax savings. HR doesn't respond you ping them multiple times, HR head also doesn't respond.
